Coaching kids, including your own, is incredibly rewarding. Coaches are vital for the AYSO experience. No soccer experience? No problem! AYSO provides tailored training based on the age group. If you're involved in your child's activities, coaching fits your schedule. To become a coach, just fill out a form, complete a Safe Haven™ course, and attend a coaching session. Our Coaching Manuals support you every step. Coaches teach skills, promote teamwork, and foster sportsmanship while having fun!

Steps to Becoming a Coach

1. Visit our Region 941 AYSO website at http://www.ayso941.com and register as a volunteer. For more information on how to volunteer visit our Volunteer page. There you will find step by step instructions to guide you through the process.

2. Complete a Safe Haven and CDC Concussion course at AYSOU. The login information to enter AYSOU will be the same as your login information for http://www.ayso941.com.

3. Sign up for a coach certification class at AYSOU. To determine the appropriate level of class visit our Coach Training Matrix page.
